Mustangs' prayers go unanswered in loss to Monarchs
The Varsity Field Hockey team's wonderfully successful season came to an ubrupt end with a 1-0 loss to the Monarchs of Mitty High. An early goal by Mitty proved to be insurmountable in what turned out to be a defensive battle. The loss marks the end of the HHS Field Hockey careers of Audrey Riddle, Carrie Glaser, Julia Wadensweiler, Katie McCafferty, "Ky Ky" Loutit, "Hammer" Hamilton, "Yenna" Convissar, "Gertrudis" Quock and "Manny" Pardo. These seniors will be sorely missed, however, the future remains bright with several returning players and a talented crop of Junior Varsity players moving up to Varsity. A special Thank You and Congratulations to Donna Keith for a great season.
